Is there a poultry vaccination schedule somewhere? I am considering hatching eggs (incubator) and want to make sure they are protected.

We live in California and have a suspected Mareks bird, if that matters.

It's all about the search terms

I found this- which would my free range flock be like? The broiler breeders? I assume they are vaccinated for longest life (long by commercial standards anyways)

It would be best to actually know if you have Marek's disease or not, so you can make decisions on how to proceed. If Marek's is present in your flock, there are instructions for cleaning eggs from your birds, and strict sanitation to prevent your incubator and chicks from exposure. They are vaccinated as day- olds, and isolated for another two weeks, to develop immunity. They will still develop Marek's infection, but not the tumors that kill most birds who are infected. Mary
