vaccinations

Just wondering how many people here vaccinate and for what diseases? Do you consider your location a factor?

I have the hatchery vaccinate for me. I thinks it very important. I don't feel that my location has anything to do with my decision.

I was just curious because I know hatcheries only vaccinate for Marek's disease and sometimes coccidia. I don't know how prevalent other diseases are in backyard flocks of chickens, but it seems like there could be the potential for catching, for example, Newcastle disease, infectious bursal disease, infectious bronchitis, etc.that are routinely vaccinated against in commercial flocks.

Anyone ever vaccinate for these? Or are they really not a concern?

and I'm leaning very much toward having only Marecks disease vaccinated against. I do want to use medicated chick feed for the coccidia as well. I am going to ask the local avian specialist prior to getting my girls but want to know what others have experienced.
