Where do you guys/gals buy Valbazen? I have 10 birds to treat. I plan on giving .5cc/ml to each standard size bird (5Lbs). Is that correct amount? I also plan on soaking it into bread as i've seen listed and give to each. I will also repeat in 10 days. Am i missing anything?

Many people give .5ml to a standard sized bird for ease of measuring. The actual dose is:
weight in lbs/2.2 X 20mg /113.6 = dose
So a 5lb bird would be .40 ml, a 6lb bird would be .48 ml (which I would round to .5).
I have always given it with an oral syringe.
You can also get it at Valley Vet Supply (valleyvet.com) or Allivet Pet Pharmacy (allivet.com).

It's best to give wormers orally, that way you know they were properly wormed with no guesswork. Pre-load your syringe with 1/2cc Valbazen. Have someone hold the hen for you. Pull the hens wattles down with fingers and thumb, her mouth will open. Then shoot the wormer in her open mouth and immediately let go of the wattles so she can swallow the liquid on her own.
If you dont immediately let go of the wattles, the liquid may go down her windpipe, then there would be big trouble.
If she shakes her head, hang on, she will tire out, then administer the wormer. Make sure you release her wattles, I cant emphasize that enough.
Reworm your birds again in 10 days.

When i say i would put the dosage on a piece of bread i would separate the chickens and give them each an individual piece. Would that not work?
I've done that before. The soaked bread can fall apart. Not only that, some birds wont touch it. You can go ahead and try it if you wish, let us know how it turns out for you.
