A friend recommended the site. We have had a few hens in our high tunnel to deal with slugs and other pests. Decided to expand a little and try hatching out our own chicks. The first attempt failed, but we will try again. The eggs weren't fertile and the incubator quit on day eight. May have wait until spring to find eggs. Glad to be here.

Welcome. Alaska is a beautiful State. I have been there many times. The only thing I could do without is your cost of living. I have never used an incubator - always momma hen. It is so much easier.
