Welcome to the Valentine's Day Contest Series
Roses are red, violets are blue... Poultry come in these colors too!

Poultry come in a myriad of colors. For this Valentines day contest we're looking for poultry to pair with the "Roses are Red, Violets are Blue" rhyme. So grab your camera and show us your favorite Red or Blue feathered poultry.

Rules:

• Four entries per member. An entry is *one* picture of your red or blue domestic poultry. One entry per post, please.
• All domestic poultry allowed (chickens, turkeys, ducks, geese, peafowl, guinea fowl, quail, pheasants, etc.).
• Other poultry are allowed in the photo, but the star of the photo must have visible red or blue feathers.
• Examples of red: Rhode Island Red, New Hampshire Red, Red Pyle, Production Red, ISA Brown, Red Sex Link, Black Breasted Red, Bourbon Red turkey, etc.
• Examples of blue: Blue Cochin, Blue Silkie, Self Blue, Blue Andalusian, Blue Slate Turkey, India Blue Peafowl, etc.

Spoiler: More Rules - Please Read

1. The picture needs to have been taken by you.
2. You cannot use a photo that won an award in another BYC sponsored contest.
3. Basic editing such as cropping and other subtle changes are allowed.
4. Images that have been resized might be disqualified if they are too small to judge.
5. Extra consideration for picture quality!
6. No people in the picture (no faces, fingers, hands, arms, etc.).
7. No screenshots, and no watermarks, date stamps, text, etc. on the picture.
8. ALL pictures MUST be uploaded to BYC and not hosted on other image sites, personal websites, etc.
9. Prizes are limited to one per person per contest.
10. Open to all BYC members.
11. All BYC rules apply: Terms of Service (Rules)
12. Entries will be accepted until February 17th at 11:59 PM Pacific Time.
