Who Can Resist Chocolate on Valentine's Day!

What's sweeter than chocolate on Valentine's Day? Poultry come in a myriad of colors, so for this Valentine's day contest, we're looking for chocolate poultry. For this contest, any bird that has chocolate in its color genetics, or is a dark chocolate brown color, will be eligible. So grab your camera and show us your favorite chocolate poultry!

It's easy to enter, just reply to this thread & attach (upload) a picture of your chocolate poultry.

Rules:

• Four entries per member. An entry is *one* picture of your chocolate domestic poultry. One entry per post, please.
• All domestic poultry allowed (chickens, turkeys, ducks, geese, peafowl, guinea fowl, quail, pheasants, etc.).
• Other poultry are allowed in the photo, but the star of the photo must be chocolate.
• Examples of chocolate: chocolate Orpington, chocolate Call Duck, Chocolate Muscovy, etc.

1. The picture needs to have been taken by you.
2. You cannot use a photo that won an award in another BYC sponsored contest.
3. Basic editing such as cropping and other subtle changes are allowed.
4. Images that have been resized might be disqualified if they are too small to judge.
5. Extra consideration for picture quality!
6. No people in the picture (no faces, fingers, hands, arms, etc.).
7. No screenshots, and no watermarks, date stamps, text, etc. on the picture.
8. ALL pictures MUST be uploaded to BYC and not hosted on other image sites, personal websites, etc.
9. Prizes are limited to one per person per contest.
10. Open to all BYC members.
11. All BYC rules apply: Terms of Service (Rules)
12. Entries will be accepted until February 17th at 11:59 PM Pacific Time.

There will be at least 3 winners and each will receive a copy of the beautiful BYC 2022 Calendar!​

The calendar is available to winners that reside in the United States. If the winners are outside of the United States, they will be awarded a 1-month PFM.

Found a picture you like better?
If you find a picture that you like better than the one(s) you already entered, go ahead and post it then let us know which one it's replacing and we will make a note in the spreadsheet. There is no need to delete it.

Here is one of my two Chocolate Birchen English Orpingtons hens.
She's sneaking up by the doghouse to eat some kitty food. Onery girl, she's such a sweetie though.
