Wow, I just checked my hatch date and realized I set my eggs to hatch on Valentine's day!!! just crazy...

my dark brown welsummer egg is actually on day 16, while the other eggs are on day 17, I am glad I remembered that I put it in one day late, plus it is a bigger egg. The others are due 12th, but the big one may be Feb. 13 or 14th. The little AC egg is clear on the pointly end still. That egg might be behind. All the other eggs look normal.

what breeds are these?

The dad is blue cochin/LO/BCM, The eggs are 5 diff breeds
dark egg is Welsummer, the tan/pink egg next to it is Lavender Orpington. Spotty green is blue cochin/LO/ blue isbar, little pink one is Ayam cemani, the blue one is an EE.

Twelve barnyard mix chicken eggs went on lock down today. Due on the evening of the 12th. I'm hoping for the first chicks from my homemade incubator.

I had to yank the little AC egg it quit on day 15 and didn't absorb any yolk.

The eggs below are still going strong, the blue egg looks like it will hatch first because of the dip in aircell. This is day 18 for the dark brown, and day 19 on the others.

First chick hatched this morning! I had to go to work and missed it. Two chicks had pipped when I left for work. Hoping for more today!

Update on 2/13/2019 - 5 chicks have hatched and one more just pipped the shell. So far we have 1 Cuckoo Maran, 1 EE, 2 Leghorn, 1 Sex Link.
