Thx they were very considerate and first pipped the egg that was upfront and center. Not a whole lot more going on this morning. I had a dream that they were all hatched and fluffy and running all over the place and I was trying to catch them and set up the brooder. It was great!

I got my 1st pip (ever) last night while gone to V-day supper with the wife.

I now have 2 more, and the 1st one has started zipping. It is about 1/2 way around so far.

And I thought I was gonna be a day or 2 behind V-day.

Well I have three out and several more pips. I am concerned about one of the pips - it is really far down. All three that are out are marans. Does anyone know what color wheaten chicks are when they hatch?
