I set 8 project eggs from my birds.... 7/8 are developing !!

I set 7 Turkey eggs for a friend the week before...4/7 are developing.

My two tester duck eggs were duds, they likely froze in the coop before I got to them. But 6/10 of the Serama are started! Yay!

Still need entries for the mini-video contest.

Here's a small sample. (No chickens were hurt in this video). I have a small fence that I move around to mainly let the silkies free range in different areas every week. The bigger chickens just walk right over the fence. I was trying to get that on tape because it's kinda cute when one of my BOs walked up it and got her toe hung. I was mortified expecting her to freak out flapping and break her leg, but she hung there calmly until I released her toe.

Edited to NOTE: I spelled Chicken wrong! LOL

She was quite patient........and VERY tame! I always expect a broken toe (or worse) in situations like that.

I can't take a video at the moment. I'm on the Oregon coast on vacation for the week. If I shot a video of a fowl, it would have to be of me feeding the seagulls. Of course, I could be standing next to the "Please don't feed the seagulls" sign.

What are you supposed to do with leftovers when there are no dogs or chickens around?
