Valentines Day/January Gift Swap

Just double checking: Will we be getting information about the person we are sending to? I want to make something home-made but would like to be sure I have a person to send it to. This is my first swap on BYC so I'm just curious. Thanks

Yes, thank you. Do folks ask their partners information or anything? Like what sort of things they might like to receive or favorite colors? I've done swaps on craftster.org & it's a little different. I just want to be sure I do it correctly for this site.

You are never going to believe this! When I went shopping was just before the deadline. I found so many cute things then this one craft item just sparkled to me and reminded me of a certain BYC member. Even though I didn't know if she was part of the swap I bought it. Shortly after that I noticed she DID join

so I asked our wonderful Jen if I could have her name, yep!! So far so good, right? Yep, right up until the whole box was knocked off of the washing machine, braking the PERFECT item I bought

It is irreplaceable, a one of a kind craft item, soooo I went from prepared and excited to, now what! I may try to duplicate the item as best I can, it really was perfect

I have finally gotten internet at home that isn't dial up so now I can get on here at home too. Thank you sprint evo: celebrate BUT, all the addresses that I have saved from previous swaps are in my computer at work. SO, thats why names won't go out until Monday.
