you're doing much better than I am. I currently have 4 out and 3 that I can see a beak moving in a pip hole. Hope they can all make it out today.

my humidity is dropping...and Im not sure why... Im thinking of making a quick grab to get a few out and put some wet papertowl in to try and boost it.
Congrats. How are the 2 in the bator doing?

Fabulous, Congrats!
Well, I did a quick snatch and grab. got the three oldest ones out. left one. Looked at a couple of the eggs and the membrane looked pretty dry. I took a couple wet paper towels and layed them over the eggs with a pip. The humidity level did go back up, so we will see how the rest of the day goes.I have a small medicine dropper and a straw that I use to add in water. If need be, I have added 2-3 drops to the tops of the eggs. My eggs sit in cartons so the water runs down and soaks the carton increasing the humidity.
As for checking on the ones left that have not pipped yet, if you want to check and see if they are moving, maybe have a few warm wet washcloths handy. toss one in or even over all but one egg. Use another to snatch out the test egg. keeping as much of the egg wrapped as possible, use a bright flashlight to look into the air sac for an internal pip or movement. then make sure to wet that egg's shell well and place back in the bater.
