With the size difference in the eggs, do you need different incubators? Or just one with a fan? I know my still air incubator I use for hatching has temps that vary greatly by how high the egg is located in the bator. So bigger eggs have their tops closer to the heating element.Well, my phoenix eggs are due tomorrow, hopefully. Plus quail eggs due Thursday. So right on time for both on Valentines day.![]()

I don't think it would be with a fan. But I set some duck eggs last year and I noticed I had to adjust the temps down compared to where the incubator had been set for chicken eggs I had previously hatched. The only thing that had changed was how tall the duck eggs were, making the temp reading closer to the heating coil.
welcome and good luck.............I didnt see this post before. I just put 24 Black Copper, Blue Copper and splash eggs in today. This is only my second time trying to hatch... I cant wait!
