My oldest was really sweet. One year the heart napkin came home in the lunchbox, folded up small. I thought maybe I'd embarrassed her. But instead, she wrote "I love you too" on the napkin. Made me heart melt.

You'd never know that to see how she acts around me now. Have to beg or sneak up on her if I want a hug!

no...i used the boxes...the ones that came with the packets.


put you could use the cylinder one....that would be extra cute....let me think what you could use to hold it from rolling....


If you stapled? a cool whip kind of container....

cut it in half? put one half turned upside down on eachside of the barrel to make it look the the post?



0 that's the barrel...then imagine [ ] kind of thing around it near the bottom half of the barrel?


or glue some kind of box on the sides like that...so it stays?

you'll figure something out...then tell me how it turns out.

The barrel is a cute idea. I've been gathering ideas...I'd like to make a kid craft book with some of the things we've done.

my sister is going to take my ds and I will make a nice meal for my SO, and then ask him to help me put in the new fencing for the duck coop. LOL Oh and I will wear something cute for him that evening

This will be the first Valentines day since my DH and I have been together that he doesn't have to work!!

Added bonus.... DS is spending the weekend with the other half of his parenting team!(well1/4! anyway!)

Our anniversary is March 3rd and we are saving our money for that. We take a 2 or 3 day trip to somewher fairly close by. This year a romantic secluded cabin at a resort in the mountians.

So, we will most likely cook dinner together, something nice, seafood or maybe he will grill a rib steak or T-bone! Then hang out in our PJs and watch a Netflix movie. Oh and hopefully there will be some cuddling going on too!

My DH is taking me to a poultry show on Saturday

and then to Lowes to pick up the supplies for my new hen house. We are expanding our farm and my current coop has gotten too small. I told him instead of flowers and fru fru stuff, I wanted my "chick" stuff, lol.
