valley quail first time

I completely understand. I remember my first hatch. I had given up on them by day 15. LOL, but kept the incubator running anyway. My humidity was all wrong throughout most of the incubation. And after lock down, I had only one pip, and it sat like that for a few days. It had even started wiggling on the day of lock down. I was worried I killed them all. LOL But one day, out of nowhere, the chick started to zip. Then another, and another!!

And even to this day, I still think that nothing is ever going to hatch. You never do know till that time comes.

I sure hope they start hatching soon for you. The wait just might kill you. :)

If they can't get out their shell means they are not strong enough! Means not good breeding stock!

3 hatched same time but the first had blood something strange connected to him he's fine but i dont know what that was the other 2 came out fine 2 more for all hatch

That's great my friend! So there is your reward for being patient!

How is the one with blood? Did he make it?

Congrats on the babies! The strange thing attached was probably the yolk sac still partially absorbed. Keep an eye on him. Hopefully he does fine. Great job with the others! Keep us posted on the other 2.

I am SO glad for you that you got a few babies to hatch. :)

Hello i am sad 1 is always chirping and the other 2 always sleeping temp is ok what could be

Chicks can do a lot of peeping. Especially the first one that hatches. Is the one doing the peeping the first one out of the egg? I don't know why this is. Did you dip everybody's beak in the water? And have crushed food sprinkled around on the floor by the feeder? If they are cold, they will pile on top of each other under the light. If they are stretched out on their sides and panting, they are too warm. Adjust the temp accordingly.

However yours sound fine. Babies will do a LOT of sleeping the first few days. They will get up occasionally to eat and drink but will spend most of their time sleeping. After about a week, they will do little sleeping and be up and picking around. In about a week, you can put a small branch with leaves in the brooder for them to pick at and climb on. They will enjoy that. So let them sleep for now, they should be fine. :)

Hello ok i will :( lets see what happens thanks for all the help i will send pictures
