Well - thanks for all your efforts - BUT after talking to the owner of the dogs - she slowly backed out of responsibilty.

Take her @$$ to court! She should have to pay for not watching her own dog!

I can't believe she would back out, I'd have the dogs impounded, that is awful. So sorry for your loss.

I cant believe is that she told you she would, and you told her the price, and she backed out! People need to go threw with what they promise people!

You can file a complaint through the police for damages done on your property....just send her a certified letter and thats all it will take...if she wants to ruin the relationship???or were you folks not friendly

I know people that go down to CA to sell call ducks and he gets about 125 per pair.

I would find out who their insurance carrier is and file a property damage claim, or file a small claims court suit, and report their dog, depending on the county regulations they will have their dog declared dangerous and here for my county the owner of a dangerous or potentially dangerous dog has to secure a 250K liability bond or the dog will be destroyed.
