Kind of hard to argue with that logic![]()
last time I checked none of my eggs came with watches...![]()
my eggs get really confused - they travel across the international datelinelast time I checked none of my eggs came with watches...![]()
NEXT QUESTION ----HOW did you store them. What was the temperature (ambient) Have you done this during mid summer (90 + degrees)? 21 days is amazing.![]()
I've seen this...people talking about not storing more than 10 days and how they have to have exactly the right temps...but...I don't quite understand it. I was reading a book from 1909 where the guy got his eggs after a 12 to 18 day trip via stagecoach and still got an 85% hatch. What have we forgotten in the last century?

I think part of it is the birds have been inbred so much for things like amount of eggs laid instead of hardiness of the eggs... selective breeding isn't always a good thing

people are getting dumber and dumber... Just look at society in general.. it's the age of "instant everything" and people wanting to be spoon-fed info instead of doing the work to try to understand HOW things work... I have seen adults trying to figure out how to tie their shoes.. unable to figure out how to lash a gate closed.. just little things that make you shake your head and wonder what the heck happened....
Bill and I like to bash heads every so often.. it's what us old codgers do for fun..![]()
