Vegetable Seeds for planting

I get mine from all different sources. If you join up on Dave's Garden website, they have all kinds of seed swaps for veggie and flower seeds. Last year I got two huge padded envelopes full of veggie seeds. They also do newbie seed swaps so if you don't have much to trade with at first you can still get quite a few seeds for postage etc. It is a good place to meet other gardeners and share rare or original seeds/plants etc.

CoyoteMagic, what variety of lil big apples did you plant from Gurney's? I planted Pixie Crunch and a pollinator, Liberty, in the spring of 2008. Last year we had high winds so a main branch broke on the Liberty. I don't think we got any apples from the Pixie Crunch. We got about five from the Liberty. I'm hoping to get some this year. I'm anxious to try the Pixie Crunch. Hope it taste as good as the advertisement says.

Henry Field has a coupon good up into Feb. for $25 off your order and so does Gurney's. Park's are excellent, a little more $$, but they have a lovely catalog. I ordered from PineTree for a long time, but last year they were so late and I didn't get the right seeds, I have decided to skip them this year. Jung is another great catalog. I also buy in bulk at Rural King.

I was going to order thru Burgess but the almost exact same order came to $76 thru them. You saved me some money and everyone need that.
