I looked at mine yesterday which was day 9 as well. All still doing well and squirming about! Still high in the shell just under the Air Sac. Like they are treading water

yes, exactly! Were yours shipped eggs? Have loose/detached or irregular air cells?

Shipped yes... Air cells seem fine... I'm sure they will all hatch great!

I don't typically lose many from here to hatch day so it's looking good for 16 chicks here too!

What's your hatch day? 8:00pm Wednesday the 27th is the end of day 21 for me...

I'm figuring on the morning of the 28th since I set mine at 11am on day 1.

I'm curious to follow what happens with your eggs. I have something similar occuring with mine - today is day 7 for my eggs. This is a different incubator for me, Brinsea 40 DX. With my other still air home made one I noticed the distinctive spider and veining patterns, perhaps it's because they are getting rotated better or more frequently?

I have set 14 in lockdown today. We shall see soon whether they did well or not.

Of the eggs in question - chicks treading water under the air sac - one has hatched, 2 more have pipped, one I'm still waiting on, and one seems to have quit late @ day 15.
