Awe, Cyn...I just saw this thread, and read all posts. I'm SO very sorry! I enjoyed all the stories and pictures about her...I know what you mean about "how much can one person take" - I've been feeling the same way, but you've got so many others that are counting on you to care for them & be a good chicken momma to! They all need you! How wonderful that she passed in the arms of someone who cared so very much for her. I'm so, so very sorry.

Cyn I just saw and read this thread, I'm sorry for all of you. I am glad it didn't take long though, I hate it when my babies suffer.

did u do a necropsy on her? Or contact someone to do one? I would be very curious as to what killed her, just so that if anything like this comes up in the future it would be able to be diagnosed and treated. I wonder why their molts were so hard? I'm so sorry you lost her, I've read all your posts this year (well, since I joined in March) and it just seems like it's one thing after another! I hope 2009 is better for you! Good luck, and please let us know if a necropsy is done and what the results are.
