Vengenace is Sweet!

Use technology to your advantage. Put loud hidden speakers around the perimeter of your yard. At random times, play a CD of barnyard animal sounds including roosters crowing loudly. When someone files a complaint that you still have chickens, let the authorities check out your back yard and see there are no chickens. When they are gone, play the cd again. If the neighbor keeps filing 'false' complaints, sue them for harassment.

MMMMUUUUUOOOOOOOHHHHHHAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!

I will have to remember this if I ever run into trouble!!!

the thought came to us... only we planned to keep the chickens, move them just before an inspection, then bring them back. To me, anything after the first time is harassment.

My BF's mom has an African Grey that learned to mimic the sound of a truck backing up. There was construction accross the street one day and she heard the noise and that was it from then on. She was so annoying with it they had to move her outside with her other annoying birds. She sounds so real when she makes that noise.

Love the chicken/roo/tiger CD idea! I bet you could surely teach the Macaws to crow and cluck. My two little Quakers learn new phrases all the time. They used to start screaming when it was dinner time, but I did not acknowledge the bad behaviour. So, now instead of screaming, they figured the dogs get to eat first, and my helper dog is told, "get your bowls". So guess what the Quakers learned?? "Get your bowl, get YOUR bowl!" Either that, or they bark like a little dog, "arf...arf arf". Funny little guys and super smart. They get fed immediately with one of those phrases to show I approve of their request.

LOL, animals are a LOT smarter than some people give them credit for.

SO I GOT A NEW STORY TO ADD TODAY!!!

Driving home from work I was stopped at the red light just before my street. I was in the left turn lane waiting on the green arrow. It comes, I take my foot off the brake and go to put it on the gas when all of a sudden I hear "BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP!!!". I take my foot of the gas and slam on the brake and sit there for a second. I hear it again "BEEEEEEEEEEEP!". I check my rearview mirror and see some suit in a BMW behind me laying on the horn. I guess my 1.7 second delay to the green arrow wasn't good enough. I'm in no hurry, so I sit there until the light turns red, thanks to traffic not letting him go around, so does he. After a few more beeps the light turns red and I put my car in park, get out, walk up to his window and knock politely smiling. He rolls down the window all agitated and cussing so hott that even his overly cold AC isn't cooling anyone down. I just smiled, waited till this hot head in his oakleys and rolex takes a breath, then say "Just wanted to let you know your horn doesn't seem to be working. Despite your best efforts my car still hasn't seemed to move." Then the light turns green, he backs up super fast almost hitting the car pulling up behind him (I wouldn't have bothered if other cars had been waiting too) and drives around me. Walking back to my car I thought 'Darn, I should have offered to take some of that money off his hands so I could buy an 8 cyl car and down my delay time by .5 seconds'

Turns out this guy lives up the street from me. I 'forgot' to take a bag with me when I walked my St. Bernard on his lawn LOL
