Frugal, any advice to can chicken/duck? I don't know if duck would work, but I think it'd be for stew meat and such. A chest freezer gave up over winter, it'd be nice to not replace it.
I process 90% of the meat we eat. These are such great ideas.

My meat grinder paid for it's self the first year.
It's so nice to know where my meat comes from. And that I'm getting the meat my DH havested for me and not someone else meat or left over venision from last year.
