My flock got the raw venison scraps by accident after we got a deer yesterday. Are they going to be ok?
 
Lucky birds! I gave mine a ham bone with all the nitrates, but they still loved it.
 
Some of my birds' favorite kitchen scraps are red meat!

Seriously... I scrape the carcass clean, and grind it all up, and my chickens get a pound or two a week all winter long.. My birds hang out under me while I am processing begging for scraps..
