I have two hens with vent gleet. I have been using anti fungal cream; getting gloves on and smearing some around their vents. It helps, but as soon as I stop (putting the anti fungal cream on them), the vent fleet comes right back! Who knows about a more efficient treatment?

I appreciate your taking the time to read this :)

Do you have photos?
Are your hen's crops empty every morning?

Sometimes you need to treat the "gut" as well. Ask your vet for some Nystatin or you may be able to find it online. While most of the time Vent Gleet is cause by fungus, it can be a result of bacterial infection as well. Try the treatment plan outlined in the link below if it doesn't clear up, then have your vet perform some testing to find the cause.
