Vent gleet in chicks?

I bought a couple chicks from a local farm. One has what I think might be vent gleet.. I saw a mess around the vent soo I cleaned it up with some warm water but then saw it’s all bald.. what do I do??

It's probably "pasty butt" ... You can put some vaseline to help prevent the build up. Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV) with the "mother" in their water helps but not in metal water system (1T/gal). There's also Probiotics for chicks that you can use.

What are you feeding? What is the temp in the brooder?

Thank you. I am feeding them start and grow medicated crumbles. I am using a brooder plate for heat. None of the other chicks are having issues
