Vent plug missing.

Can I just plug the hole with something else? What are they for?

My incubator says to tape it offer with duck-tape if there missing.

What are they for?

to help control humidity.​

I only have one plug in my incubator from day one anyway. I do put a small towel over the window though to keep the temp up. I have a LG still air incubator. Have had good hatch rates with it believe it or not!
