That’s awesome! I can do that! How much should I give her?
Thank you for the info!!
I used the tiniest needle. She didn’t flinch, which made me feel like she didn’t feel it?? Hoping!!!
I’ll read more of the info u sent me to see about that swollen area.
Thx again for your replies! You’re amazing!!
She weighs 5.6 pounds.
I noticed earlier this evening that she’s lost weight. I can feel her breast bone when I pick her up
Thank you! I’ll start it right away!!So...for your hen using Tylan200 dosage would be 0.06ml per pound of weight given orally 3 times a day for 5 days.
Some people do give the Tylan by injection, but it is known to cause injection sight necrosis (due to being administered 3 times a day).
I hope that brings her gives her the boost she needs to recover.
I don't know if they are linked or not. Could she have gotten something in her ear?Hey WR,
Snow was shaking her head, like every second for about 5 min, now she’s resting. No shaking.
I am problem being over-cautious, but I’m leaving Saturday & will be gone two weeks. I have a dear friend coming to stay w my feathers, fur & shells! Just want to know if this and the swelling are linked or ?
Thank you!!

I would wait to see if she continues that behavior. It would also be a good idea to make sure her crop is empty in the morning before she eats/drinks.
