My female muscovy hen (3 years old) has started to lay which seems to have made her vent prolapse recently. It does not seem to be swollen, but i was wondering what i could do to help her vent get back in?

Can you post photos?

If the tissue if prolapsed and exposed, keep it covered with oil, honey or an ointment to keep it from drying out.

If she's not lethargic, then a good soaking in a warm epsom salts bath may help reduce inflammation to help with healing.

She needs Calcium to help with retention. I believe most give ducks Calcium Gluconate, 1ml orally.
