Vent sexing?

Vent sexng is definitely an art rather than a science...... which is why even the most experienced sexers at the professional level, think hatcheries, have at most about a 90% accuracy rate. Here is an illustration that shows why it is so challenging, you can see that many of the configurations are very similar and then consider that you're performing this on the ridiculously tiny vent of a newly hatched chick, but as you said you can't learn unless you try

Now how are they hurt Specifically. Also do you have the actual answers to your test. How else did you learn to neuter, remove a growth stich up Any animal myself included? Graft a plant, design and build a robot. There is nothing any person cannot do or learn, if they just put their mind to it. If I tell someone they can't enough, they will believe that. That is just an evil way of thinking.

So you didn't read the text of my response at all...... because I can't understand how you got your response based off of what I said. I see now that you're really not interested in actual help or input so I believe I will step away from this conversation at this point. Have a wonderful day

You do understand how vent sexing is done, right? You're effectively squeezing a tiny, fragile baby hard enough to make it (very very slightly) start to prolapse, i.e. turn inside out. It surely isn't hard to see how that has the potential to cause injury.

Please do not vent sex them. If you really need to know ASAP, look into DNA testing.
That's what I've done a few times. I hope I'm not throwing @2ndTink under the bus here, but as long as I give her a heads up I'm sending samples (a drop of blood from a toenail in special vials I bought), she writes me back the same day she gets them. There are many, many places that do DNA now. She's a friend, so I stick with her. 🤗
