Rhode Island USA 🇺🇸 Zone 6b
Started up cycling my Son swing set in March and we are just finishing up. I need some advice on my ventilation. I’m in Rhode Island USA
Cope is 5’w x 9’ L
Currently using broken down pellitized horse bedding on floor .
Floor covered with flexiSeal
I have 2 poo boxes that are about 8 1/2’ long . I use sand in these
South Ventilation in front is a shutter laying on it side and two 3”x 4”vents I made sliding panel to cover. The back is venting through soffit. You can see in photo.
The roosting bar is approximately 2’ down from ventilation. The sides of roof edge is open on east and west
Windows are closed for winter and the West and north walls covered in 4ml plastic.
We are looking a below zero temps tomorrow with dangerous window chill
If you could look at my ventilation and advice if I should close some for Winter or at least frigid weather. I’m so nervous that my Ladies will get frostbite
I clean poo box everyday and floor
My run is covered with polycarbonate
It’s 10x26 currently wrap in plastic expect West , it has a double tarp.
adequate ventilation along top of run.
Run bedding is broken down horse pellet bedding
I have 6 Ladies
Leave ventilation as is or reduce?

I think your ventilation is fine. I would not reduce it any. Remember that proper ventilation,,,,,,,, is a constant gentle air flow,,, without drafts that would ruffle chickens' feathers.
Another thing,,,, with you removing chicken gumdrops regularly,,, that reduces the amount of potential ammonia produced. :thumbsup
Nice coop and run and I luv:love re-purpose ways.

WISHING YOU BEST,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,and:welcome

I agree. You've done a good job on converting that structure into a coop. Just check the area along the roosts for drafts. As long as no wind blows directly on the roosted birds, they should be fine.
Make sure they go to roost each night with their crops full to brimming with their normal diet.
On brutally cold mornings, offer them a warm mash with electrolytes added to it to help bolster them.
