sawzall along all the seams to cut through the nails. don’t waste time prying nails out

Don't want to hit the rafters tho....and that's a mighty tight spot to wield a sawzall.

Here’s the inside. I warn you it’s really dusty. I didn’t realize how bad that was until recently. That’s why I’m here asking for help.

We removed the nails from the third section. But my husband says the board goes into the coop and he doesn’t know how to get it out without cutting the rafters.
Removing the fascia to remove the soffit would be the easiest. But requires more nail pulling.

that’s how i cut out all of my ventilation. straight cuts in small spaces are a piece of cake.

I would be trying to pull the fascia board. I know it is all a lot of work.

I am curious if there is ANY movement in the board especially at those ends. It may be nailed at the ends too.

That oscillating tool can cut through the nails if there are any at the ends....or in the fascia that you can't get out.

Just make SURE that you have the metal-cutting blade.

We goofed on that and ruined a perfectly nice wood-cutting blade by misreading it.

I’m going to try and pull the fascia board tomorrow. I’m also pretty sure we have the harbor freight version of that tool but lost the battery for it. Maybe making a trip out there tomorrow.
