Here is a basic design which can be made out of mesh, fabric, or canvas secured to a box or crate, or hung from a pole or cage:

Here is a design from chickentherapychairs online that shows the basic design with the sling and attached water and food bowls.

2 inch binder clips, found at Offic Depot and WalMart office supplies, can clamp a sling onto a box or Rubbermaid container.

Here is my chick chair with food and water dishes made from an oats box. The top inner edges should be covered with tape to soften the sharp edges.

Evenflow doorway jumpers fit most LF hens perfectly and you can hang them pretty much anywhere.
If there are those out there that aren't crafty. You do need to snip a poop porthole and you can position the cloth seat two ways depending on how your bird is shaped.
