So very odd! Seems like it should be the most basic "copy / paste text" kinda thing.

I found two workarounds, one is to highlight all but the first letter or the URL like Dave Edwards suggested, copy & paste, then add https://www and the first letter to the copied text. The other was installing the Chrome browser.

@casportpony how old is your kindle? Model? Just curious if yours is newer. Mine is a fire HD 7 fourth generation. I've had it since 2016 I believe.
