Very dark bars

There are 6 barred rocks in this picture. They're all sexed and hopefully female. Roosters have lighter barring? Look at how dark that one is in lower right! Why so dark?

This pic is same rocks at maybe a week old.

They all are different. Does it have yellow legs, and a single comb?

Yes, small single comb. They're almost 4 months if not already. Legs are yellow with the dark on feet.

My BR looked the same around that age, slightly darker

Are they Heritage Plymouth Barred Rocks, or regular Hatchery Barred Rocks?

Mine's a Heritage Rock.

I believe mine is a pullet since it has wide black bars, & dark on the legs.

They all look like pullets, that are close to laying eggs.
They also look like regular hatchery Barred Rocks. They have the classic large rump that Heritage Plymouth Rocks do not have.

How about a picture of the saddle feathers. Cockerels will have pointed saddle feathers, & Pullets will have rounded.

They all look like pullets, that are close to laying eggs.
They also look like regular hatchery Barred Rocks. They have the classic large rump that Heritage Plymouth Rocks do not have.

I believe one has already laid a couple eggs. We have a couple of marans that lay huge dark brown eggs and just noticed so large lighter brown eggs last couple days.
