I'm sorry you lost your chick! So sad! I have a broody sitting on some eggs too with a few in the incubator. If you're up for it and she's still sitting in the brooder box on her nest, either go to a local farm or hatchery and get some day-old chicks for her. Slip them under her at night and see what happens. You never know! Good luck!

I had two fake eggs so I put them under Lily. She is on an egg that is supposed to hatch Tuesday. She is another BIG girl! I'm hoping this will work. I really want all this broodiness to be at an end!
