Here is the litter all snuggled in their nest!



Everything looks really clean, and the kits all look plump and wiggling. Yay!

I think she is going to be a good mother. The breeder I got her from told me her mother was, and that's typically passed down.

Should I worry about any supplemental heat though? The nest box is inside a house box, but this is an outdoor hutch. It's only 52 degrees here today.

Hi there! Loved your post. My Rex is going through a false pregnancy now. I know she has not been with a buck yet and won't be for another 10 days. But what do I do with all her lovely work of building her nest? Do I remove it now? Leave it and put it in the box and she gets ready to kindle?
