Very green diarrhea - pic's included

Hi all. I don't see the bruising anywhere else. And I see her doing that strange stepping thing again this morning with both legs. I eliminated all high roosts because everyone was flying up too high in the rafters and they come down with such a thud. I gave everyone yogurt yesterday. How long should I continue the yogurt and how much is a good amount for each to have in a day? Thank you.

Hi Jill - Just checked back and see your question about yogurt. I don't think you can go wrong with giving it regularly for a good couple of weeks after administration of antibiotics is complete. Intermittently thereafter for general health purposes can be beneficial. Amount is flexible - there's a gazillion friendly bacteria in each spoonful so even that amount is very helpful.
Good idea about taking away the high roost - the funny walking may be a leg strain/sprain that needs to heal. 4 inches or more of straw/shavings for landings can also help. I have 4 inches or so for BJ and Annie and they have a low perch that with a small hop leads to a straw and wood shavings lined shelf that they prefer to sleep on.
Hope things are improving there - wishing you a trouble free 2008 (though I know life is never quite that simple!).
