Very happy sick chicken

I take back what I said about not getting a good poop since yesterday! She just pooped out a decent amount of hay and grass again

not nearly as much as is pictured above, but still not a bad one! I needed that pick me up after getting the news about my Norma baby

Did you feel the other ones crop did she have the same issue going on?

I am sorry for your loss.
I would make sure to add some vitamins and electrolytes to her water

gotta love poops!

what are you treating her with?

She's a buff orpington. They're my favorites of the three breeds we have. I have 4 buffs, 4 brown leghorns, and now, as of today, only 2 americaunas. My favorite americauna died out of nowhere today. She was fine at lunchtime and my sister found her around 4:00 cold in a nest box. No idea what happened

Yea, but poor Mindy pretty much won't eat anything now and her crop is somewhat full again. This is so frustrating! She's drinking great still so that's keeping my hopes from disappearing completely but the crop not continuing its shrinking like it was doing the last few days and her lack of appetite is worrying me

You said she has "oyster shell grit" available. Did you mean she has oyster shell and grit available? Because they are two different things and they need grit in their crops to digest their food.

Sorry for the confusion, she has oyster shell AND grit. She's been happily consuming both.
