I did receive one extra, a Barred Rock (which is my favorite breed), but I would have been happy with any of my breed choices as an extra! One Australorp has the traditional penguin marking, the other one has a much darker face. All 3 Barred Rocks have the white spot. One Olive Egger is black, and one is grey. The Easter Egger looks exactly like a cream legbar but legs are greenish tint. All are hopping around, super friendly!

Omg look at this Olive Egger! It must be a Blue Copper Marans hybrid.. it is sooo friendly! (Actually both Olive Eggers are.) I opened the brooder, and it jumped out to see me! It will settle on my lap by itself, and just relax and look around. I think it is reading BYC with me!

I am SO glad you are enjoying your friendly healthy flock!! It's so exciting having new littles. Do we have names yet??!!
The lavender Orpington is Agave…the Wyandotte is Zinnia…still working on the rest! I also have a few chicks from Ideal (a few friends split an order and I added l a couple of breeds Mt Healthy didn’t have), so we added a Naked Neck (Cheddar) and a Russian Orloff plus a couple more my neighbor wanted. We have 16 all together, and we are keeping 8….once they are named they are claimed, lol. My neighbor was nervous to brood them, so we are raising them up to 4-5 weeks and then sending them their 8. They’ve had older pullets before but never chicks. My son wants to keep all of them! (I kindof do also). They are the friendliest batch of chicks we’ve raised, and we’ve raised a bunch over the last few years!
