My poor baby susu is a NN silkie bantam. She has always been on the struggle bus. She had a lame leg when I first got her at 5 months and we helped heal that. As soon as she got healthy and walking again, she became our bantam NN silkie roosters favorite. She would often lay on her side when mounted and wouldn’t move for a long period of time afterwards. Many times I’ve found her sleeping on her side and snatched her up thinking she was dead. She will just lay there while everyone runs and scratching and flashing. Sometimes I think she could have a neurological thing.
We listed the rooster yesterday and separated him but this morning I came outside and he had escaped/ she was laying lifeless. I don’t actually know if he has anything to do with this. He’s not aggressive to my eye. I Brought her inside and gave her a bath, got some electrolytes and rooster booster in her.
She will not eat or drink on her own. Poop looks good, no mites no worms. She lets me open her mouth to get the syringe in, I can basically do anything to her. She appears to be in a thick haze. Any ideas? She does not seem well at all.
First photo is how I found her this morning
