Very mean hen

I have a brown leghorn that is named Trixie but we call her "the mean one". She too was terrorizing the other girls and I separated her for a full week and it didn't help. I finally went to the store and bought a squirt gun. I sat outside the coop with a book for a few days and when she started to be mean I sprayed her. She got to where as soon as she saw me lift up the gun she would run inside the coop to hide. She is nice now

. It took effort on my part, but fortunatly it was summer time and we have beautiful weather here so it wasn't a hardship to do it.

I have a little welsummer cross hen she is the smallest in the bunch but is head hauncho. I got a white leghorn hen with the big huge comb that lays over to the side she is the sweetest thing in the world. When I first got Cali the leghorn I put her in a little wire cage in the coop for a few days to let everyone get acquainted then I let her out. Instantly the little welsummer cross hen started grabbing her by her comb and dragging her around she has caused Cali's comb to bleed and it looks awful. I tried just letting them figure out their order in the coop but it has yet to stop and now Cali will not come down off the roost and she is absolutely terrified when I do bring her down if another chicken looks at her she hurries to the roost. I removed who we call miss meanie pants last night and put her by herself past that I do not know what to do. Any suggestions?
Thank you in advance!!

I'm having the same sort of issue. My pullets have been together since they were 2 weeks old. Now theyare 21 weeks and have just started laying. I've spent a lot of time with them and the pecking order wasn't bad and everyone knew their places. Today I went to let them out of the coop and my B.O.was bleeding badly from her head and most of those feathers were pulled out. Any time she moved the other six were jumping on her. Now they are outside doing their thing butthe poor B.O.won't leave the roost.should I seperate her from them for a few days or just let nature take its course?
