OP - do you in town? I've heard the same thing about Silver Appleyards - but again, I've never had them. are you planning on raising them? if you just want to enjoy them as pets, two little boys would not be noisy at all!

I have a Cayuga female who has a very soft quack even when she's upset. If you have sound restrictions I would suggest her breed.

I don't plan to have a large breeding business or anything, but I'd love to have a pair of mini silver appleyards and raise a couple babies. I live on a farm, but just don't want to be annoyed by really noisy calls. So, I'm 99% set on getting mini silver a.
