Very poorly 6 month amber white please help!

yes, absolutely, i can do this tomorrow morning.
Have the poop check for paraites as well.

Its quick when you use an axe. I havent didn't it myself. I believe you take a stump, put two nails on it, space big enough to put ther neck in to hold them in place. When you cut the head off, put the bird upside down into a bucket of water. Only read that somewhere. Makes since. Anybody else with tips?

:) ahh thank you Kathy...
okay so not as bad as it could be...the sample showed up cocci but not a high amount...he said 'nothing disturbing about the reading'. It showed up nothing else..no worms, no worm eggs...zilch. He wonders whether the lice wiped her out and she became anaemic and that is why she is so weak...couldn't suggest anything other than what i'm doing already. The Kaytee has arrived so that will be her next feed this evening. He suggests continuing as i am doing until after the weekend, at that point, ie sunday, monday if there is no change then it will be time to say goodnight. EVERYTHING IS CROSSED!

I let mine live until I just know it's time. If they totally quit eating on their own and they sleep all the time, I have decided that's when. I leave them in with me for weeks, thank God my husband doesn't get too mad! I keep them on the couch (they don't get down if they are sick). The cats and dog don't other them, maybe even kind of keep them company. My chickens are like my babies, I love them and I get very attached too, especially when I bring them in. I have one cockerel who I pray doesn't get this, I love him so much, he's just always been a fiesty thing from day one and I love to catch and kiss him.

I hope the vet can help diagnose her.

Yes. Fluids first, then fluids and baby bird food... Are you in the UK? In the US I recommend Kaytee Exact Baby Bird Food, but I don't know what's available elsewhere.

You can get the Kaytee Exact in the UK. I found it on Ebay, I don't know if they would have it at your local farm shop or garden centre(like Nottcutts)but they might be a good places to look. The Ebay link: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/KAYTEE-EX...?pt=UK_Pet_Supplies_Birds&hash=item3f2a7c4fe6.

that was a very lovely and funny message schnebbles and did make me laugh...the thought of your baby being pursued by you for a cuddle and a kiss - very very sweet :) :). and you have a lovely husband to let them on the sofa :). we have just taken a teak mid century design mirror down so she will have another friend! so she hasn't got a sofa but has got stylish surroundings lol.
did my final feed for the night with the kaytee and when we took her out the crate she actually drank some water!! about 5 sips which is a big deal currently. i always try and give my babies love but they crouch down and keep waddling real quick to get away - ungrateful things :). and thank you again for your support.
