Do any of think he might die now as well due to his mate dieing. I just dont wont him pining him self to death. I am gonna try and get him another girl on wensday or will he reject her?

See how he does in the next day or two. I have a mateless hen now who had a loss a month ago and she is doing ok now, being the only duck (outside anyway). Just spend a bit of time with him if he is bonded to you, but I would get him another friend soon.

Just try and get him another hen. He'll be ok. Another BYC'er lost her hen do to a hawk attack and she got another hen and seemed to be ok.
