My dad's friend's wife just called today he has had cancer for awhile now and the doctors couldn't even figure out what type it was and he has a tumor growing in his tail bone cracking it in 2 so they (while he was still awake) drilled a long metal thing in to keep it together, now he only has around 2 more weeks to live a month at most. My dad has been friends with him forever he's more a uncle to us than our "real" uncles.

I recently went through a long battery of tests on my eyes. I'm a high risk candidate for retinal detachment, so I don't take seeing floaters lightly. My eyes got dilated about every 2 months for 6 months and examined by several different doctors.

Never once was I asked if I had chickens. If this "fact" were true, it most certainly would have been brought up.

ETA: If it walks like a duck & quacks like a duck, it's a Quack doctor.
