very sick hen and tons of guilt

How do you check their weight to know the dose? should I also give corid?
I weigh mine on a digital kitchen scale, but if you don't have one, just look the weight of the breed and adjust the dose up or down if you think she's fat or thin. Or you can weigh yourself, then weigh yourself holding the bird. Difference in weight is the weight of the bird. Safeguard is very safe, so don't worry about giving too much.

You can give Corid at the same time, but it would be best to see some poop pictures before giving it.

If you're 100% sure they don't have the liquid, get the paste, but the liquid will treat way more birds than the paste, so it is the more cost effective of the two.

i think this is her poop... i will check the dog crate to see if she went recently

No fresh poop in the cage, she ate some food and drank some water (and dumped some water) I took the food out after reading about crop impaction in case thats the issue, her crop feels full. does she need a perch in the cage for tonight? or can she jsut sleep in the bedding?
Can I deworm her without giving her more food afterwards?

I'm supposed to go out of town tomorrow at 1pm and not get home till sunday morning... I can possibly be home late sat night if I miss a day in the 5 day cycle of dewormer will it be effective? otherwise I will cancel my trip but my kids need to go for therapy so its a bit nutty (nothing ever happens at a good time right?)

So I'm heading to tractor supply to buy the wormer. going to give first does tonight. then 4 more doeses how long is the withdrawl period before eggs are safe to eat again?

Thanks so so much for the help!
