very sick hen and tons of guilt

I totally understand your not a vet and appreciate the help of experienced chicken owners. I cant spend over $100 on a hen.

Can I try giving her food?

she voided 2 more times (much more white then green this time, still watery) he crop is softer but still feels semi full, going to pickup a plain yogurt and the syringes.

Her crop looked a bit less full this afternoon gave her some wet feed which she ate and she seemed happier walking aroudn the crate more (trying to escape any time I open the door, which she was not doing yesterday) will give her the dewormer based on weight tonight 1.357ml

Praying she pulls through, our sabbath starts tonight so I will be compleatly offline from 6pm est tonight till 9:30pm est sat night

You might not want to leave the heat lamp on her while you're out of town unless you are 100% sure that it won't get too hot or start a fire. The amount of Safeguard is correct.

I'm not going out of town but will turn the lamp off since I can not turn it off on sabbath it seems like she is staying away from the heat anyways. I'm sticking around to keep an eye on her even if I am limited on what I can do for her

She seems to be doing OK and I hope I"m giving her the meds ok but I seem to be getting better at it! I'm holding her head in a normal position prying her mouth open and putting the meds in the front part of her mouth once I hear her breath so she does not inhale it and I watch as she swallows it.

Her poop today looked better more formed less diaria! She ate some wet feed again which I removed till tomorrow. should I try her on regular feed tomorrow or keep the softened stuff? she still seems a bit more lethargic then a healthy hen... Oh I gave her probiotic in her water last night also. would something like pedia light be good also for her (thinking extra hydration/electrolites might help perk her up a bit?) ps she laid an egg Friday but I did not see one today so either she ate it or did not lay one... but I only get 8-11 eggs a day from my 12 hens so I dont think they all lay everyday... she does not feel bulging at all from her legs to vent so I'm ok there right???

Seriously hopeing she pulls through my kids are praying for her I dont want to have to explain that sometimes G-d says no!

she is still hanging in there but not much change, eating a bit, drinking some crop felt HARD today but softer again later on... IDK wish I coudl pay to have a vet look at her since I really dont know what I"m doing but cant sooooooo we shall just have to see

YAY today her poop looked more normal and she is much more feisty! I will check her crop again in the morning but this afternoon it was full but not hard at all YAY!!!!!! hoping and praying I can let her out with her friends tomorrow!
