Im afraid she passed away just minuets ago, we buried her in the garden where she always pecked for bugs...
At least I know whats is wrong and how to now treat my other hens...
Thank you to everyone who helped me and tried to help keep her alive...

You could try a pumpkin, garlic, dandilion root... to worm them naturally. Just bust a pumpkin and let them have at it. With all the other things you are doing to help your chooks out, it might just be easier on their systems to naturally worm them till you get the mite problem undercontrol...

Sorry you lost your girl. I read the thread thru from the beginning, and I can see that you really care and were trying everything you could to help her out.

You tried your best. Don't over worm the rest, start with one wormer then hit them with another in 10 days. If you have already ivomec'd the rest wait a day or two before you give them more wormer. I would give safeguard or whatever it was that you ordered. If they are that infested you may need to keep deworming at 10 day intervals about 3 to 4 times to make sure your clear.

I would just use the valbazen. It will kill all the worms and is very effective and you won't have to worry about using anything else.

But she still needs to get rid of the mites/lice also. If the valbazan hasn't come in she should go ahead with the ivomec and get that started then give them the valbazan when it comes in the mail.

It's a learning experience. The longer you have chickens the easier it will be to recognize problems and treat them. You did as much as you could! Best wishes for the rest of your flock and your future chickens!
