very small egg size in pullet

my 8 month old wydotte pullet just started laying yesterday.her eggs are very small a bit smaller then the palm of my hand[my hands are small] i just collected another egg today and still small =/ im wondering if wydottes just have small eggs or its just that this is her first 2 eggs in a new home and when they will start getting bigger.will post pics need answers ASAP

Compared To a store brought egg

8 months is fairly late for her to just be starting but it is typical for the first eggs to be small,oddshaped, shellless or have some other imperfection

I would be happy with that first egg. Remember that most store bought eggs are L or XL.

How is her diet? Too many treats will hurt egg production.

We never give her treats just stractch and layer feed

Oh no no no she laid before we got her but these are her first eggs here
