This chick hatched three days ago. What a time. I could see it was stuck in the shell and I helped it. After all the times I said I wouldn’t, I did anyway. So after I helped it out I put it on a paper towel and put it back in the bator. For the entire day it sat there So I though I would move the towel, here it was stuck to the towel. So out it comes I put it under warm water and got the towel off. Today it’s still sticky so under the water it went again. I can’t get it un-sticky. Is there anything I could use to clean it? If this chick makes it, it’s going to be one spoiled Silkie.

Yep, I put her under the bathroom sink. I did it again and rubed her good so I'm hoping that helped. Her feathers were stuck on her one eye. I used a Q tip for that. She's so little it was hard trying not to get her head under the water.

I think she's good. Thanks.
