Enola - you need to get yourself some more chickens, they are a flock animal & enjoy each others company (more, must have more)....

oh and it also seemed like she layed the yolk in one egg sack and the white in another ive seen it on youtube ill try to find the link for it here it is

The hen is doing good. All normal eggs so far. Thanks for the advice and links, very helpful and interesting!

I am working on it, a board member is helping me out with an Auracana rooster. She sent me a picture today via e-mail.

He is so pretty ! I am recovering from the flu. As soon as I feel like driving an hour. I am going to pick him up !
